What makes me smile like a child, you ask?
The child dog, a puppy, a sprite.
Yellow Labrador, almost 6 months,
She bounces and races through life with a zest
That I can’t remember, but makes me smile to see
Ever naughty, ever nice
She grabs my sock and races by.
She can squirt out a door faster than the cold air comes in
This is my truth and I am off to walk her.
