Thanks for sharing. A lot of people and experts feel that if a relationship becomes painful or draining that is a clear indication that it is time to get out.

I will say that my 30+ year marriage looks quite a bit like yours with a few differences. I will say that I can never go for days without talking to hubby, especially if we are under the same roof. I don't say that to indicate superiority. I think maybe I just have a low tolerance for cold shoulders and have to re-engage even if it doesn't go well.
