10 stories
Below are my responses to the 10 Day Shortform Challenge and a brief description of each prompt.
Day 1 of the Challenge prompted us to read articles on Medium and find one that really resonated with us. We were to write a quick abstract and then talk about why we found the article significant. This prompt really got me going because a week earlier I had read an article on Medium that I just couldn't forget.
Day 2 of the Challenge prompted us to write about a quotation that was important to us and why. See my response below.
Day 3 of the Challenge invited us to write about a Fun Fact. My response is below.
Day 4's prompt suggested we write to ourselves 10 years into the past.
See my response to Day 5 (below). I managed to include the prompt in my 150 word response.
Day 6 of Shortform Challenge was harder. Tell us about a day you knew you did the right thing. My response is below
Day 7 asked us to pick a historical figure who we would like to have dinner with. See my response below (or jump down to prompt 8 (my favorite).
Day 8 of the challenge asked us to write about things we are grateful for. That seemed like a snoozefest to me, so I decided to rhyme mine. It can be sung (kind of) to the tune of "My Favorite Things" by Rodgers and Hammerstein.
Day 9 of the Shortform Challenge is below, it includes the prompt.
Day 10 of the Challenge asked us to talk about ourselves and what we like to write about. DONE! That was fun.
