I used to have running buddies who I ran with regularly. I'm a social runner, struggling for motivation when I'm by myself and doing much better when I have a captive audience. These days after many years my husband and I 'go running' together at least a few times a week. This means we go to a particular running destination and then go do our workout and meetup when done. I'd prefer that we really 'run together' - but so far our paces haven't matched that well. Still it's overall a boost to our physical health, mental health and relationship.

I'll work towards that side-by-side race completion target. Thanks for recommending.
